About Us

We are Kirsty and Ross, and together with our kids, we have created Taigh na Mara. It’s a place to slow down, switch off and enjoy quality family time by the sea. St Andrews has always been special to us, we both spent holidays here as children (long before we met!) and it’s a place we have always loved returning to along with the surrounding towns and villages. For us it’s the beautiful coastline, beaches and the charm of the town itself that make it so special.

Taigh na Mara is brand new, and we’re so excited to be starting this journey and sharing it with guests. We wanted to create a space that feels easy, comfortable and welcoming. Somewhere families, couples and friends can come together, make memories and enjoy everything this area has to offer.
